It’s not something anyone wants to think about, but the unexpected can happen. Do you have a plan for your pet if something happens to you?
I started thinking about this a lot after taking in my foster Roscoe. Roscoe was abandoned with a bunch of other dogs after his mom died. While it was figured out where all the dogs would go (there were about 30 dogs living on the property) he was left with a man who was likely abusing the dogs.
I hate to think about Hunter being abandoned with no plan and no one to take him in. Although I trust my family wouldn’t let anything bad happen to him, I would rather know exactly where he would end up and not leave them to try and figure it out. If you haven’t thought about what you’d do with your dog, or have but aren’t sure where to start, the Cleveland APL will be hosting Wills, Wags and Wine next Tuesday to provide information on creating a plan for your pet.
