Do you look like your dog?

There was an interesting article in the Atlantic recently: “Why You Look Like Your Dog.” The article discusses how it’s common for owners and dogs to resemble each other, most likely because we are attracted to things that look like us. Studies have found that people with longer hair tend to pick floppy-eared dogs like beagles and spaniels and women with shorter hair do the opposite.

Researches have also found that strangers can match photos of dogs with photos of their owners “at a rate well above chance,” according to the article. Taking a look at these photos that The Today Show posted of “Doggie Doppelgangers,” I definitely would have matched these owners with their dogs.

Ok, so that last one isn’t from The Today Show. It’s my dog and I. What do you think, do we look alike?
